CDBF Explorer is a freeware application (Windows platform) that allows you to open dBase tables, to modify contents of these, and to do some other simple management operations (searching, applying filters, operations with indexes, etc).
CDBF Explorer engine is based on TDbf Component, and doesn't require any external database engines, as BDE or ODBC.
With CDBF Explorer you can operate on dBase tables. You can:
- open dBase tables (small and medium size, because the capabilities of CDBFEx are based on TDbf engine, which is not recomended for huge tables). File format 100% compatible with dBASE III+, dBASE IV or dBASE for Windows. Supporting for Clipper and Visual FoxPro.
- add new records, or modify the present ones.
- add or delete indexes (supporting for Clipper and FoxPro indexes currently under development).
- viewing and editing the memo fields content. You can use fields with no size limits.
- export to Excel/HTML/CSV format files.
- delete/recall deleted records or packing them (physical deletion).
- create new tables , add/remove fields, indexes
- apply filter on records (you can apply filter every field).
- easy installation and removing, without the alteration of existing files on operating system.
CDBF Explorer features:
- based on latest TDbf engine.
- option for showing/hiding deleted records in a different color to identify them easily.
- modify the size and colors of fonts in grid.
- indentify the type of fields and the type of opened table (dBase III,FoxPro 2.x, etc).

I realized I was spending a lot of time waiting for JPEGs to open, and the default viewer on my system wasn't really hot with large files. I take a lot of digital camera pictures, and viewing a few megapixels in a web browser is ugly.
I have a good bicubic resampler that I use for various things, and so I made a JPEG viewer that uses it to show pictures when you double-click them. It makes them small, to start.
The idea here is "images as objects" so once they're open, you drag them around the screen by clicking and dragging. That's it. If you push them against the top or left edge of the screen, they "stick" for a while and resize to stay on the screen (that means you get live zooming.)
Now default for JPG, BMP, and GIF, can open PSD but I don't like stepping on Photoshop's turf.
